Welcome to Federal College of Education, Odugbo, Benue State, Nigeria. The College was set up to, among other things, enhance, promote and encourage teacher education in Nigeria; and to also ameliorate the challenges that many Nigerians face in accessing quality teacher education. Though Federal College of Education, Odugbo is in its cradle, we are determined not to despise the days of small beginnings; we aspire, by the grace of the Almighty God, to lead in quality teacher education in Nigeria. We welcome all and sundry on board to support us in every way in order to realize the goals of this institution towards giving our students education for development and self-reliance. This website will not only show you how we are taking off in grand style but will make the interaction between you and the College just a few clicks away. Of a truth, COVID-19 has changed the normal way of doing things, including the issue of access to portable quality education.
We are determined to make use of every available resource to make education technologically compliant and contextually rich and relevant. hereby inviting suitably qualified candidates for Pre-NCE Programme Preparatory for
admission into NCE Programmes in the under-listed Schools, viz;
✓ School
of Sciences
✓ The School of Languages
✓ School of Arts and
Social Sciences
✓ School of Vocational & Technical Education
Interested Candidates should be holders of SSCE/ NECO with
3 Credits passes and 2 passes including English Language in not more than two (2)
sittings. Two (2) of these Credits must be in relevant areas.
Also, holders of
Teacher's Grade II Certificate (TC II) with 3 Credits/Merit in the relevant areas and
passes including English Language can apply.
The Pre-NCE forms can also be picked
for free at the College premises in Odugbo or downloaded from this website. Applicants should attach photocopies of their credentials to
completed forms before submission.
We have perfected arrangements to provide comfortable accomodation for all our students.
Fully furnished class rooms and ventilated lecture halls for a wonderful learning experience.
Well equipped physical library and in the future establish a fully subscribed E-Library to enable students access relevant resources.
The Provost is the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Accounting Officer of the College.
The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College. She is charged with the responsibility of the day-to-day administration of the College.
The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the College and She is charged with the day-to-day administration of financial affairs of the college.
The College Librarian is charged with the administration of the College Library and Library Services.
